I was introduced to Dalit through a colleague when our new organization was seeking a consultant to streamline and assist in the development process of a new organization that had just launched.

You arrived to us as we were dealing with a crisis, following the failure in a statewide tender by the government’s Social Security Institute for care providers for the elderly at home. You were responsible for writing and submitting the proposal for the complementary tender. We received the highest score. We then successfully finished the agreement with the XX company and all the care providers returned to us.

You were highly proficient at cooperating with all the managerial and professional elements of our organization and outside it. You generated pride within your division, all the time aware of the need for efficiency and thrift, thereupon working relentlessly to minimize the work force.

Mrs. Michael-Sipper brought to ALEH a wonderful combination of managerial vision, initiative and organizational skills. Shortly after she began running the department, she initiated a large-scale reorganization of the schedules and areas of jurisdiction of the members of her team. This involved reformulating and clearly defining the division of roles and tasks, as well as institutionalizing training for caregivers and professionals; improving ALEH’s quality control procedures; and building mechanisms to guarantee that labor laws were carefully followed.

What astonished me was her ability to accurately sense the organization and its needs and identify solutions in areas that were not defined in the process. I enjoyed the partnership and felt supported throughout.

As a new manager, I felt that Dalit was working hand in hand with me, with sensitivity and intelligence that comes only after years of experience, always keeping the good of the organization and clients in mind.

…Among them were projects that affected the entire organization, such as the incorporation of salary preparation within Aleh and the implementation of a new salary software to be used in this process as well as the renewal and rewriting of our entire website.

I was especially impressed with Mrs. Michael-Sipper’s professionalism and entrepreneurial qualities. While she worked at ALEH, Mrs. Michael-Sipper wrote a winning proposal to a national competition to provide welfare services, organized by the National Insurance Institute. Her proposal won the highest score among all the other bidders. Additionally, not long after she joined ALEH, we decided – given her evident expertise and skills – to expand her professional responsibilities to include also public relations, marketing, and advertising on behalf of the association. She distinguished herself in this field as well, building among her team an awareness of the marketing and customer relations aspects of their tasks. In this role, she singlehandedly planned, initiated, and directed an innovative and efficient marketing strategy for the association.

As the Division Manager, Dalit managed 28 homecare departments throughout the country, with over 120 employees, among them social workers, registered nurses, semi-professional staff, and salary clerks.

Following your move to the United States with your family for an extended stay, an intensive period full of challenges has been cut short. In your position as Manager of the Elderly Homecare Department of our nonprofit organization you managed one of our most important departments, which not only caters to the elderly at their homes, but also generates much positive energy for our entire organization.
